		<description>Great post.  I never really liked that &#039;lurking&#039; phrase, but called myself a lurker quite a bit when I first started on Ning networks and Twitter.  That first paragraph about being an &#039;active observer&#039; for a while before jumping in is exactly what I did and still do today.
Many intelligent people out there to get ideas from and some of the advice I find very helpful, some....ah well.  For me, it&#039;s worth trying something once.  I can&#039;t believe how much I&#039;ve learned in the past two years from colleagues and my networks starting with Sheryl and Will&#039;s WNY PLP cohort.

Thanks, oh, I belong to many Nings.  I ning occasionally.  And have a hard time keeping up on the Ning I started.</description>
