Powerful Learning Practice (PLP) is pleased to announce that we have partnered with North Dakota State University (NDSU). Educators may now take any of our instructor-led PLP eCourses for graduate credit. Please read the information below for details on how to receive this credit.
How do I register for the graduate credit?
- Register with PLP for your eCourse
- Once your course begins, register here and submit payment to NDSU (for the graduate credit).
How many credits are PLP eCourses worth?
- 2 week eCourses=1 graduate credit
- 5-6 week eCourses = 2 graduate credits
- 7-10 week eCourses = 3 graduate credits
- 11+ week eCourses = 4 graduate credits
How much does the graduate credit cost?
- PLP 1 credit eCourses = $75 for NDSU graduate credit
- PLP 2 credit eCourses = $125 for NDSU graduate credit
- PLP 3 credit eCourses = $175 for NDSU graduate credit
- PLP 4 credit eCourses = $225 for NDSU graduate credit
How do I get a transcript?

How will grades be awarded?
Letter grades (A-F) will be used for all PLP eCourses
Do I have to apply to NDSU to receive graduate credit for my eCourse?

Will there PLP eCourses available later in the spring or in the summer?
Absolutely! Once we get our Feb. 6th courses off and running, I’ll be working on getting the new course dates (and new courses) publicized.
The “Experiential Mobile Learning” eCourse said there was grad credit available, but it’s not listed above. Was the promise of Grad credit a typo? If not, where is your complete list of courses with credit amounts?
Thank you for letting us know that this page had not been updated since we announced our new courses. The Experiential Mobile Learning eCourse will be offered for two credits. Sorry for the confusion.
Hi there — do any of the PLP courses count toward a degree or certificate program?
I am currently working on trying to get a certificate in Project Based Learning for our new Project Based Learning Immersion program. I hope to have more information on this soon
I am assuming that if you are taking a course for graduate credit then you also have to pay the registration fee. Therefore, The Complete Guide for Implementing The Flipped Classroom: The Full Picture would be $349 to register and $225 for the graduate credit, for a total of $574. Am I correct?
That is correct, the graduate credit costs are in addition to the PLP registration costs. Please let me know if you have any other questions!

How do the grad credits work? If I sign up for the google apps 101 course, which is only 2 weeks long, can I get any credit for that? It appears that only 5-6 week courses get 2 grad credits. If I take 3 parts of the series, adding up to 6 weeks, does that qualify instead?

My district can pay for this course once it is completed by me and I have been graded. Is this possible with PLP? If so, I am really interested in the Connected Coaches course.
