Going to ISTE 2014 in Atlanta? Some members of the Powerful Learning Practice team will be there, and we’d be honored to meet you!

Sheryl Nussbaum-Beach (PLP’s CEO) will be in attendance and she would love the opportunity to talk with you about the possibility of getting involved with Connected Educator Month as well as PLP’s Connected Learner Experience.

Where to meet up:

  • Sheryl is part of the core leadership team for Connected Educator Month 2014, and she’s hosting a Connected Educator Month meetup on Monday, June 30th at 1pm where you can chat about how to get involved with CEM 2014. It will take place in the 3rd floor PLN lounge.
  • Throughout the conference, she’ll also have coupons promoting our PLPress authors, including Kathy Cassidy, Marsha Ratzel, Pernille Ripp, and forthcoming author Matt Renwick. If you’re lucky you may even run into PLPress Managing Editor John Norton or author Kathy Cassidy! Kathy will be presenting about primary grades and getting kids connected from the start, so don’t miss her sessions! Here’s a recent post by Kathy on digital citizenship.
  • Sheryl is presenting at the EdTechWomen Leadership Dinner on Finding Your Most Heroic Self: Leaving a Legacy. RSVP here.
  • You can also find her during ISTE Board office hours on Sunday, June 29 from 1-2pm and Monday, June 30 from 2-3pm.
  • Finally, join her for the ISTE Board presentation on Monday, June 30 from 10:30-11:30am in the 3rd floor PLN lounge.
