Virtual Institutes for School Districts

Powerful Learning Practice’s team is well-versed in catering professional development to the needs of teachers by bringing together experts in education from around the globe. Virtual Institutes is a customized, economical way for school districts to provide ongoing, professional development covering both big picture discussions and practical, make-and-take sessions with the possibility of extending the learning in ongoing follow-up conversations in a virtual learning community.

How it works

Step 1

Your district picks a bundle of five 90-minute webinars. Each webinar can accommodate up to 90 seats. Select a group of 90 teachers to attend all five or pick different attendees for each session. It’s up to you.

Step 2

Your staff attends each 90-minute webinar. Each attendee will be greeted by our facilitator, who provides tech support throughout the webinar, and facilitates an active learning experience during the presentation. Our keynote speakers are all seasoned educators as well as practitioners of 21st Century teaching skills.

Step 3

The webinars are interactive, so there will be plenty of opportunity for questioning, small group participation, and brainstorming during the course of each session.

Step 4

After the session, your district will receive an archive of each presentation with interactive features such as a note taking tool, web tour, exportable chat, slides, and more.

Step 5 (optional)

Extend your learning experience with a robust, system-wide community of practice that will serve unlimited numbers of your faculty.
