Google Forms

Say goodbye to the days of collecting data with complex programs. Use Google Forms to easily collect a variety of data and get organized!

1. Create a Rubric

Use the Scale or Grid questions to create a rubric for grading a project or assignment. Simply fill out one form for each student and all of your data will be stored in one place. Bonus! Use the autoCrat add-on to send students a copy of the rubric with your feedback.

2. Create Personalized Learning Activities

Forms can be organized by “sections”, which allow you to you jump to a different section based on the answer selected. For example, if a student gets a question wrong, it can automatically take them to a video or resource to reteach the concept.

3. Collect Assignments

If your students are creating a project on the web, create a form where they can submit the URL of their project. The data sheets can be sorted later by person, type of resource, etc.

4. Reflection or Exit Slips

Encourage reflection or create a generic exit slip that students fill out at the end of a lesson or project.

5. Assessments

Create quizzes or tests for your student and use the Flubaroo add-on to automatically grade the assessment.
