Why on earth wouldn’t you go 1-to-1?
A computer in the hands of every student facilitates the evolution of curriculum to a student-centered, student-engaging, socially-collaborative curriculum. Having been 1-to-1 for 16 months, my faculty would say teaching without computers is far more difficult and the learning far more limited than what exists in a 1-to-1 program. Netbooks offer a powerful and affordable alternative to ubiquitous access. This session will allow us to explore the possibilities of a 1-to-1 netbook program.
