Well, here’s your chance to get the basics on a few with our Powerful Learning Practice Fellow Tools Series. Some of our 21st Century Fellows have volunteered to lead 45-minute Elluminate sessions on their favorite Web 2.0 tools for all Community members.

About the facilitator: Powerful Learning Practice co-founder Sheryl Nussbaum-Beach is a 20-year educator who has been a classroom teacher, technology coach, charter school principal, district administrator, and digital learning consultant. Currently, she is in the dissertation phase of completing her doctorate in Educational Planning, Policy and Leadership at the College of William and Mary. She is the President of 21st Century Collaborative, LLC, a digital consulting firm. Sheryl is a published writer and regular presenter at state, national and international conferences speaking on topics of homelessness, teacher leadership, community building, educational leadership and 21st Century reform. Sheryl is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Powerful Learning Practice. She works with schools and districts from around the world helping them to infuse technology into their curriculums and by leading other digital conversion efforts. Sheryl also consults with governments, educational organizations and non-profits in development of their various professional learning initiatives. Sheryl is a sought-after presenter at national and international events, speaking on topics related to digital and online learning, teacher and educational leadership, online community building, and other educational issues impacting children of poverty. Sheryl served on the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Board of Directors for six years. She co-authored The Connected Educator: Learning and Leading in a Digital Age with Lani Ritter Hall.
