Susan will also be responsible for our PLP Newsletter (subscribe here), will serve as PLP webmaster, and handle our media and public relations tasks. PLP is thrilled to have Susan with us to help celebrate and share all the amazing things our PLP teams are doing in the reinvisioning of their schools.

Susan Carter Morgan

Susan Carter Morgan is the Social Network Strategist for PLP. She has been in education for nearly 30 years. With an undergraduate degree in English and a MEd in Instructional Technology, her focus in recent years has been on digital literacy and using social media in the classroom to improve writing and to create opportunities to share. She led her school through a year of Powerful Learning Practice and continues to support other teachers in various cohorts and online. Though she runs at 5 a.m., you will also find her here, here, and here at all hours of the day and night!

During a 25-year education career, Sheryl Nussbaum-Beach has been a classroom teacher, technology coach, charter school principal, district administrator, university instructor and digital learning consultant. Sheryl is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Powerful Learning Practice, where she works with schools and districts from around the world to re-envision their learning cultures and communities through the Connected Learner Experience and other e-learning opportunities. She is the author (with Lani Ritter Hall) of The Connected Educator: Learning and Leading in a Digital Age (Solution Tree, 2012) and serves on the ISTE Board of Directors.
