The TriState cohort has much to be proud of, and making the cover and lead story of EdTech magazine is one reason.
Principal Jim Eaves and teacher Heather Reed, from East Kingston Elementary School in New Hampshire and also the TriState cohort, are featured in this month’s magazine. They discuss their work integrating IWBs into their classes in the article.
TriState Fellow Tony Baldasara, who was the assistant superintendent of the East Kingston Elementary School District, said his team took what they were practicing during their year with PLP and learned to connect and collaborate with their white boards.
“WithoutPLP, they would have seen IWB’s as a presentation tool, one that reinforced the old practices, but with PLP and their project, they are building wikis to share best practices worldwide and looking to use the IWB’s as a device to connect classess with classes around the world,” he said.
