Last year, while on tour with the #futureready leaders work I was helping to lead, I was scheduled to co-present at a conference with two young teacher leaders in Maryland. However, I got stuck in Iowa and we decided the best way to have me share my portion of the presentation was through video. I came across the video today and thought some of you might be interested in the content.
In the just over 10 min presentation I share 8 steps for growing as a connected learner.
I invite you to dialog with me in the replies below as to your reaction, possible push back, or other ideas you might have about this topic. How are you growing as a connected learner?

Sheryl, Your support and guidance through the planning, preparation, and delivery of this conference session helped to build my confidence as a leader and change agent. It has been almost a year since the conference, and I continue lead by example as I encourage and inspire others to join the connected educator movement. Thank you for noticing something in me that I had not yet recognized in myself. All the best, Jill (one of the Maryland teacher leaders mentioned above)
You have what it takes. I look forward to watching you change the world and leave a legacy. Thanks for letting me present with you.
Thank you for this great post and video on becoming a connected educator! Your explanation is specific and clear helping other educators to learn. 🙂
