Working with educators in Guam over the past several months has been both encouraging and enlightening. These are a dedicated group of educators who serve the island by honoring their culture and history and yet want to give students every opportunity to succeed no matter where they choose to live. The work of PLP has been to help them better implement their own version of the ISTE standards for students. It’s been wonderful to connect and support educators in this journey.

One such educator is Solange Prudente. Solange is the teacher-librarian at Astumbo Elementary. I sat down with Solange to discuss how the Covid19 crisis is affecting her, her school and Guam.

I’ve interviewed several other educators from around the world and will continue to add more. If you prefer audio only, you can also subscribe via Apple Podcasts or Spotify.
