Leaders usually fall in one of two categories. Either you are a transactional or a transformational leader.

Are you a transactional or transformational leader? Times like these require the ability to co-lead with your teachers and staff. Your primary role in the 2020-2021 school year should be capacity building and creating a culture of collaboration. Help your teachers understand the level of excellence expected and steps needed to problem find, solve and then implement the solution. Once you build that capacity, step back and get out of the way.

Learning organizations operate this way. Is your school a learning organization? Let your teachers help you move from survive to thrive as you find your way forward.
