We had more PLP Open Mic goodness last night, led by Will Richardson and Shelly Blake-Plock. Those in the room challenged each other to discuss rethinking leadership–what it means and how to effect change. Will posted about it on his blog, and the link to the chat is here.
Ryan Bretag asked: Do we need to push technology onto admin programs for future leaders to be successful? and Russ G. posed: Can we define what we mean by “leaders”? Are we talking about admins or people who lead? WendyE40 made the point: And yet, at some point those “leaders” bump up against those who are official leaders.
Conversations ranged from how to create student leaders to what it means to have power. Many solid ideas and connections going on.
The PLP weekly chats will continue. Join us next Thursday, same time, same place.
