We keep finding fascinating ways to help teachers learn (and learn ourselves along the way). Here is some of what we’re up to:

  • Sheryl and Susan will be attending NAIS at the end of February. Please stop by the booth and say hello!
  • Kevin Honeycutt, a Community Leader, is the featured speaker at METC next week. He’s also speaking at the KC TechNet conference in a few weeks. Kevin also has speaking engagements at NCTIES and UCET coming up soon.
  • Nancy Caramanico, Director of Technology for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and head honcho for our Archicese cohorts, has been named to the Advisory Board of School CIO, where she will also be a regular blogger. She is also a contributing author to the book More Instructional Strategies for Rigor and Relevance.
  • Community Co-Director and Leader Alec Couros presented at the Reform Symposium last month (archive available here), and will be heading to ITSC, where he will be presenting with Community Leader Dean Shareski.
  • Community Leader Brian Crosby will be presenting at TEDxNYED soon (he is on a roll with TEDx!). Oh, Will Richardson will be there, too:)
  • Will Richardson will be speaking at Disrupting Education Through Social Media and Technology tonight–and you can watch it here.
  • Dolores Gende, a PLP Fellow will serve as a review panelist for the National Science Foundation in Arlington, VA on February 17-18. She will be reviewing innovative STEM initiatives for the Discovery Research K-12 program. Dolores is the only high school panelist among a group of professors from prestigious colleges and universities. (Amazing, Dolores!! We are do proud of you!)

Please share your new with us. We love to celebrate it with you.
