Once again, Cary Harrod and her Forest Hills PLP teams are getting attention for the great work they are doing. This program is the result of a Powerful Learning Practice action research project from last year.
If you want to know more about the BYOL (Bring Your Own Laptop) program, read this month’s THE Journal article where Cary explains how they’ve accomplished it.
How they made the decision, how they helped teachers prepare, and what the future holds are all included as well as details about the progress. We love this quote from the story:
“You walk into his classroom, and you know right away that this is a community of learners. [Those students] are taking even more ownership of their learning.”
Start here with our own post from several months ago and then read Cary’s feature. Great work, Forest Hills!!
