To celebrate the launch of Connected Educator Month in August, Powerful Learning Practice has teamed up with the Intel Teachers Engage Community to organize a video contest and we want to hear from you – What makes you a connected learner? How does being connected play out throughout your day? What are your tips and tricks for growing and building a personal learning network?

Powerful Learning Practice and the Intel Teachers Engage Community are hosting a video contest – it’s easy to enter and you could win some fabulous prizes, including our Grand Prize, an Intel Inspired Ultrabook or one of several Kindle Fire eReaders.

Will all of the videos have an open Creative Commons license? Note – this is easy to do in YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/t/creative_commons

Here is an example of running a video competition (“Why Open Education Matters), with the US Department of Education, and requiring that all of the videos submitted for the context be openly licensed. http://whyopenedmatters.org
